If you’re reading this that means you’ve somehow successfully discovered the first of plenty of blog posts on this site. As I press away at my keyboard, I am simultaneously anxious and deeply, DEEPLY depressed. (I’ve had a rough night) My mind is like a battlefield of positive and negative emotions, of the mistakes I’ve made as a person and the kinds of relationships I have had and lost over the last few weeks, and the positive feelings of being productive and putting together this blog in hopes that I can do something special with it. I hope that by the end of this short post (let’s call it what it really is, a diary entry) I can end my night a lot better than how it started.

So, who am I? Great question, my name is Aysaq Chaudhry, I am 26 years old, I graduated from community college last year with an associate’s degree in arts for a transfer, and while that’s not necessarily an absolutely amazing accomplishment, I plan on continuing my education as an English major next year. Like many people with blogs, I love to write and discuss pop-culture and politics, film, games, literature, current events. If you can think of it, I probably have some thoughts on it.

This blog is by no means meant to be a grand, professional undertaking. This is merely my attempt to quell my boredom and to have something nice on my portfolio should I ever be asked to present my writing and my dedication to it. I will be discussing a wide variety of topics on here based solely on my own interests in it, regardless of whether or not they are relevant. This means that I will inevitably be late to the party on certain topics, give me a break; I’ve got a life too.

This was a short one tonight, got nothing to share. Next post will be about something other than me. (Probably)
